Tag-Along Weekend Itinerary

See below the detailed itinerary for the weekend

Day 1

9:00 AM: Meet in the carpark at Aussie World / Banana Bender Pub - 1 Downunder Dr, Palmview QLD.
9:30 AM: Head off to Tewantin to line up for the Ferry.
Travel Time: Ferry travel time approximately 10 mins. Gather together once in the ferry line up for beach driving briefing.
Activity: Beach driving.
Arrive: Drive up the beach to camp. Unhook and setup.
Lunch: BYO lunch at camp.
Activity: *Drive up the beach to the lighthouse high on the headland, and imagine life for the early lightkeepers and their families - Walk is 2.2km return.
Evening: BYO dinner at camp.
Overnight: Teewah Beach camping area 7.
Campground Facilities: No toilet or showers available at camp. Drive 45 minutes up the beach to Freshwater for facilities.

Breakfast: Breakfast at approx. 8.30am at our camp site. Catered by Beach2Bush Adventures. BYO chair and cutlery.
Morning: Morning briefing after breakfast.
Activity: Relax around camp and enjoy some time on the beach.
Activities - Late Morning: * Drive up the beach to Freshwater campground and drive past Freshwater Lagoon. Drive through the inland track to the Seary Creek day area. Fresh water swimming.
Lunch: BYO lunch - Head to Inskip Point for Lunch on the beach.
Activities: After lunch drive up to Carlo Sandblow - Walk 2.8 km one way,
Afternoon: * Head back to the Lagoon for a swim or back to camp to relax or enjoy some fishing on the beach.
Dinner: BYO dinner.
Overnight: Teewah Beach camping area 7

Breakfast: Breakfast at 8.30am at our camp site. Catered by Beach2Bush Adventures. BYO chair and cutlery.
Morning: Pack up camp and hitch up caravans.
Activities: Relax around camp or enjoy some fishing on the beach.
11:00am: Drive down the beach back to the Ferry.

Departure: Please arrive by 9:00am for Meet and Greet
IMPORTANT: Ensure you have a full tank of fuel and all supplies needed for the weekend. BYO Beverages, Lunch and Dinner, as required.
Inclusions:
- All camping fees and breakfast included for up to 2 adults for 2 nights / mornings (unless invoiced accordingly).
- Vehicle Ferry Fee.
Exclusions:
- Dinners, Lunches and Beverages are self-catered / purchased by the participants.
- Beach vehicle permit must be pre-purchased for each vehicle. Instructions will be provided by email.
Dietary Requirements: Any special dietary requirements are to be advised when booking.
Packing: Bring beach towel, swimwear, sunscreen, hat, insect spray and any necessary supplies for outdoor activities.
UHF Radio: It's essential each vehicle has a UHF Radio on board, either fitted, or handheld. This will be used to communicate when in convoy and keep everyone together and avoid any confusion. We have some for hire. You can purchase when purchasing tickets.
Safety: Carry plenty of water, and be mindful of local wildlife.
Weather: Check the weather forecast and pack appropriately.
Fires: No fires are permitted on the beach or at the camp sites
